Head of IMB, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Senior Researcher, expert of the highest qualification, higher technical education, specialty “Aircraft engines” (Moscow Aviation Institute, faculty “Aircraft engines”, 1979), specialist in the field of design, working processes and malfunctions of internal combustion engines, participant of the International Congress of Engine Builders (Koblevo, Nikolaev region, Ukraine) since 2015, author of the books “Repair of engines of foreign cars” (publishing house “Za Rulem”, 1998-99), “Technical condition expertise and fault causes of automotive technology” (ABS publishing house, 2019), monograph “Methods for modeling damage in internal combustion engines of vehicles” (UkrISTEI publishing house, 2024) and more than 180 articles on motor topics, including 30 scientific papers and 5 patents in design of aircraft and automobile engines.

Since 1979 worked in the engine laboratory of the Moscow Aviation Institute, then from 1991 to 2001 worked in a number of companies engaged in the repair of automobile engines, since 1997 columnist for the magazine “Automobile and Service” on the subject of car engines.

Since 2001 till 2013 — Head of the Specialized Motor Center (SMC) “AB-Engineering”, then General Director of LLC “AB-Expert”, head of the Bureau of Motor Expertise of the SMC “AB-Engineering”. In 2012 and 2015 passed training and advanced training at the Chamber of Forensic Experts in the specialties 19.3 “Research of vehicles, including for the purpose of their evaluation” and 13.6 “Research of vehicles to identify defects, build quality, repairs and complaints”. In 2016-18 studied at the Institute of Law and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and an internship at the Kiev Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Examinations (KNIISE) in the specialties 12.4 “Aircraft evaluation” and 10.2 “Vehicle technical condition research”.

He has a MAHLE certificate of completion of the training program for automotive engines. Repeatedly participated in conferences and conducted master classes for experts in the expertise of automotive engine malfunctions. He got a certificate of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine dated April 28, 2017 for No. 1878, specialty 12.4 “Aircraft evaluation”, as well as a certificate of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine dated February 20, 2018 for No. 1923, specialty 10.2 “Vehicle technical condition research”.

Total work experience by the specialty (theory, design, operation and repair of internal combustion engines) — since 1979, of which an expert — since 2003, including in Ukraine — since 2017.

After completing his doctoral studies at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, in 2025 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty “Engines and Power Plants” on the topic “Method for experimental assessment of damage to internal combustion engines of vehicles”.

Since 2026 – Professor of the Department of Aircraft Design, Aircraft Engines and Maintaining Airworthiness of the Ukrainian State Flight Academy (Kropyvnytskyi).
